Kogaion Kids Shine at the Arlington Judo Tournament – Medals, Big Throws & Huge Growth!

The Kogaion Judo team had an incredible day at the Arlington Judo Kids Tournament, and we couldn’t be prouder of our young athletes. Nine dedicated Kogaion kids stepped onto the mats today, each giving their all in tough, high-energy matches. Their hard work paid off with an impressive medal haul and valuable experience that will fuel their judo journey.

🏅 Tournament Results

Our team walked away with:

  • 3 Gold Medals 🥇

  • 2 Silver Medals 🥈

  • 4 Bronze Medals 🥉

Every competitor showed heart, determination, and true judo spirit. Many matches were long, hard-fought battles—excellent learning moments for all.

✨ Highlights of the Day

The tournament was packed with excitement, including:

  • Some huge, crowd-pleasing throws from our kids

  • Exceptional sportsmanship and discipline from every Kogaion athlete

  • Coach B stepping into the adult newaza division—and winning both matches! Her performance helped secure 3rd place overall for Kogaion out of 20 schools competing at the tournament 🏆
